The time is almost here for the biggest children’s ministry event of the year. Vacation Bible School is only a few weeks away. It will be held June 13-16 from 9:00-noon for all kids, ages pre-k thru 5th grade. Children that are pre-registered will receive a free t-shirt to wear on the last day for our own churchwide food truck feast.
Growing up, I attended every Vacation Bible School my church held until I was no longer in children’s ministry. I remember all the crazy stories our children’s pastor would tell and wild experiments he would conduct on stage, but the best memories I have were when I was old enough to volunteer and eventually help administrate VBS.
This year we have some amazing volunteers helping with VBS. Without their help and support, an event this size would not be possible. I’m so excited for my first Vacation Bible school here at Tifton First and can’t wait to see how God works in the children and volunteer’s lives over the next few weeks.
