United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members whose mission is fostering spiritual growth, developing leaders and advocating for justice.

Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world.

We have a United Methodist Women’s organization with a number of small groups that meet at various times to provide the opportunity for women to find a group and time that fits their schedules. For more information, contact the church office.

United Methodist Men

With the mission of Helping Men Grow In Christ, So Others May Know Christ, the United Methodist Men has been a part of Tifton First for years. Our group meets on the first Saturday of the month at 8:00 am (currently suspended due to COVID) for a breakfast meeting and program. United Methodist Men is the resource group for our Boy Scout and Girl Scout programs, provides our Dial-a-Prayer ministry, and serves the church and community through various service projects and initiatives.

Women’s Ministry

In addition to our United Methodist Women, we have an ongoing ministry to women where we work to bring in speakers, attend conferences, offer Bible studies, and seek to offer encouragement and support to the women of our church and community.
