Houston, We Have a Problem

Houston, We Have a Problem

Do you remember with the rocket launches, there always seemed to be some issue that delayed the launch? Well, apparently we are no different. On Sunday we realized that one of the freezers in the Social Hall kitchen wasn’t working.  Unfortunately, it had apparently been a few days and it happened to coincide with the heat of July the 4th. The mess has been cleaned up, but there are some lingering effects, and we aren’t sure the air will be clear by Sunday morning.

We don’t want to relaunch our Contemporary service in the Social Hall, if the air isn’t breathable, and we need to go ahead and make a call. So we are pressing the hold button for at least a week. We’ll remain combined for our Contemporary and 11:00 Traditional service at 11:00, in the Sanctuary.

When we do relaunch contemporary, there are going to be a lot of differences from our previous service. The one you need to be most aware of is that we will be moving the start time to 11:00 AM. We are very excited about the direction of this service, and the last thing we want to do is run anybody off at the relaunch, because they can’t stay in the room its first week.

Like most other problems, this is one that will be addressed and corrected. In the meantime, we’ll see you Sunday at 11:00, in the Sanctuary.

In Christ,
Chip
