Wednesday, June 14th, is the traditional moving day for United Methodist Church pastors and associate pastors. Both Tifton First Senior Pastor Chip Grantham and Associate Pastor Trevor Ward have been reappointed to serve in Tifton for the upcoming year.
To celebrate this day there will be a Prayer and Communion Service Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 pm in the sanctuary.
“We want to start this time with a time of intentional prayer,” said Chip.
“We have had a lot of special services recently with graduation and with the Bishop being here. We want to let everyone have a time to pray over our staff.
“We want to have another special service where we start this year on our knees.”
