Tom Mark

Dr. Tom Mark has served as the Director of Communications at Tifton First Methodist since November of 2022. A 34-year veteran of public education, Tom was a high school and middle school English teacher for 19 years before entering administration. Prior to his career in education, Tom was a journalist having worked at several news outlets in the Southeast. Tom graduated with a BS in Communication Arts from Georgia Southern College in 1985. He later earned a Masters Degree from Troy State University, a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University and Doctorate of Educational Leadership from Northcentral University in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
